Research on Multimedia Learning
I led several research project as a research assistant at Duquesne University. Here are my two research projects that investigated multimedia learning design in STEAM.

The study investigated the impact of visual feedback on engagement in self-evaluation and learning performance. I received Women in STEM award from Duquesne University for this project.
Dissertation: Animation and Gender in Multimedia Learning
This year-long research project investigated multimedia learning design within STEAM education from a human cognitive architecture and cognitive load perspective. I focused on the meticulous planning and execution of a large-scale study. I managed recruitment of over 100 participants for online learning sessions. The project leveraged expertise in subject matter expert (SME) collaboration, multimedia integration, and data analysis using Python and R, to inform the design and optimization of learning content. This comprehensive approach allowed for the creation of innovative learning experiences, ensuring alignment with both learning objectives and user needs through facilitated stakeholder design processes.
